Denisse did an amazing job! She took time to talk me through the highlights process and how it would look growing out. Did a lovely job blending with my previous grown out color and grays. She was generous with the coffee and conversation. Highly recommend this gem of a salon. Thank you for the cut, color, and styling my husband and all my coworkers complemented me on it!

Denisse was wonderful! I have thick, curly wavy hair that's always been hard to manage. After looking at my hair, Denisse suggested we do a curly cut, and I'm never looking back! It's the nicest shape it's ever been, and looks so shiny and bouncy. She also showed me how to style my hair, and I've been able to recreate the same results at home with her product and my regular diffuser. She actually embraced my natural hair type and made it look it's healthiest and shiniest, rather than giving me a nice blow out that looks pretty, but not much like me (my typical salon experience). Thank you Denisse!!

My young daughter was having the most awful hair day. That morning she was convinced that she was ugly and that her hair was the ugliest. I asked her why she thought that and she said her middle school friends made fun of her. She honestly did not even want to go to school that morning. So I told her that we were going to get her hair done that afternoon so she could see how truly beautiful her curly hair is. We came to Yeya salon and Denisse and her brother could not have been warmer, kinder or more gracious. (The quotes are actual words from my 11 year old - I swear) We felt like we were visiting "a friend's home." Both owners immediately praised my girl's curly locks with the words she really needed to hear right then and Denisse gave her an absolutely expert curly cut. I didn't even know a curly cut was a thing until I came there. Halfway through the haircut, I saw my daughter sit higher and straighter in the chair and the wide smile flitted across her face. By the end, my daughter could NOT stop flipping her hair and grinning ear to ear. "Mama, we have to come back here for my birthday... and for Valentine's Day... and before the next school dance!" Later, still flipping her hair in the car, she said,"I never knew my hair could do this and I could get waves in my hair just exactly like what I always wanted!" Even better, she said,"And when it goes curly again, it will be just as beautiful! Like [Ms. Denisse's] hair." To be fair, her brother's hair (sorry, I missed his name) was equally glorious. I don't usually rave about something, but really, it meant so much to my little girl just at the right time and for that, how could I not? I paid $85 for something truly priceless.
